As an artist, what fascinates me is the idea of narrative within an image. It is this suggestion of a story that fires my imagination; what has happened to get to this point and what will happen afterwards? It is these questions along with humour, whimsy and, on occasion a sense of the macabre that are important to me.

Drawing and the use of line is a very important part of the process. I work mainly with watercolour and ink on hot press paper or Bristol board. Occasionally gouache, coloured pencils and marker pens will also be employed.
